This app talks about the availability of quality fertility services (artificial insemination, veterinary first aid, vaccination, treatment etc.). In addition, e-Gopala mobile app will guide animal nutrition for farmers, treatment of animals using appropriate Ayurvedic medicine / athletic veterinary medicine.

After the launch of PMMSY scheme and e-Gopal app, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said that the project would help the fisheries and animal husbandry sector. These initiatives will also help in bringing diversity and new technologies to fisheries and animal husbandry.
Benefits of e-Gopala Mobile App
Central Government. Launched e-Gopala mobile app to provide solutions on issues related to farmers. At present, there is no digital platform available in the country for farmers managing livestock. It includes the following things: –
- Buying and selling disease free germplasm in all forms like semen and fetus.
- Availability of quality breeding services like artificial breeding, veterinary first aid, vaccination and treatment
- Guiding farmers for animal nutrition, treating animals using appropriate Ayurvedic medicine or ethno veterinary medicine.
PM Modi in Purnia for Rs. Inaugurated Semen Station with state-of-the-art facilities with an investment of Rs. 84.27 crores on 75 acres of land provided by the Government of Bihar.
PM Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) launched
Central Government. Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) has also been launched for the fisheries sector along with e-Gopala mobile app. As a part of the Atima Nirbha Bharat Package, the Center will invest Rs 20,050 crore for its implementation during 2020-21 to 2023-25.
The PMMSY scheme aims to increase fish production by an additional 7 million tonnes by 2023-25 and reduce post-harvest losses from 20-25% to around 10%. It has also said that PMMSY will increase fisheries export income by Rs 1,00,000 crore by 2023-25.
