Deen Dayal Swavalamban Yojana is a startup loan scheme run by the state government of Arunachal Pradesh. Under the Swavalamban scheme, the state government is providing financial assistance in the form of subsidy on startup loans. The objective of the scheme is to encourage unemployed youth for low cost capital for the establishment of entrepreneurship.
Under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Swavalamban Yojana, the state government will provide bank loan facility to the youth between Rs. 10 lakhs and Rs. 1 crore for the establishment of greenfield enterprises. Candidates can avail loans under the scheme from any bank in the state (Arunachal Pradesh Gramin Bank (APRB) and Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Limited) (Apex).
Main features of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Swavalamban Yojana
Below are the salient features and salient features of DDUSY Scheme: –
- The government will provide loans from Rs. Up to 10 lakh rupees. 1 crore for setting up small and medium scale industries. This amount will not include the cost of land and building.
- The government will provide a 30% back-ended capital investment subsidy for enterprises. Women will get an additional 5% subsidy annually to set up enterprises, provided the loan does not become NPA.
- The candidate has to contribute at least 10% of the total cost of the project by himself / herself. Candidates who will contribute more will get preference from the government.
- Candidates can avail loans from any bank in the state but approval of SLSC is required.

Application form for Deen Dayal Upadhyay Swavalamban Yojana 2020
Deen Dayal Upadhyay Swavalamban Yojana applications can be made only through offline mode. Below is the step by step step on how to fill the application form to avail the startup loan subsidy under the Swavalamban Scheme.
- Visit India portal www.standupmitra.in.
- Prepare DPR on any eligible activities.
- Download the application form of DDUSY from the official website http://itanagar.nic.in/scheme using the direct link given below. Direct Link
- Fill all the mandatory details in the form and submit the application form to the office of ADC, Headquarters.
- After submission of the form, the candidate will obtain a receipt from the ADC, Headquarters office.
- All received applications will be submitted to DLSC before 25th of every month.
- Appeal to the District Level Screening Committee when and for whom to be called. The District Level Screening Committee (DLSC) will send the application form to the State Level Screening Committee (SLSC). The SLSC will screen the proposal every 1 Monday of the month.
- Now, after approval from both committees, candidates can submit their proposal for loan in any bank of the state.
