Bihar govt. starts Mukhyamantri Ati Pichhda Varg Udyami Yojana 2020 for extremely backward classes youth, CM EBC Entrepreneurship Scheme to enable jobless candidates to start their own business or setup an enterprise, create self employment & provide job opportunities to other unemployed persons

The Bihar government has launched Mukhyamantri Ati Pichda Varg Udyami Yojana 2020 for the people belonging to the Extremely Backward Class (EBC) category. Under this Chief Minister EBC Entrepreneurship Scheme, the State Govt. Will provide financial support to start a new business. The scheme will enable all qualified members of EBC communities to establish new ventures. CM Nitish Kumar has launched the Chief Minister Extreme Backward Classes Uday Yojana (Chief Minister Extremely Backward Classes Entrepreneurship Scheme) on 24 January 2020.

This Chief Minister Extremely Backward World Industry Scheme has been launched with the upcoming 30% extremely backward classes (EBC) votes.

This information was given by CM Nitish Kumar while addressing a program organized to remember former Bihar Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur (Veteran Socialist, EBC leader) on his birth anniversary. The event was organized by EBC Cell of JDU at Shri Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna.

State government. Bihar will also arrange for proper training of selected applicants in their chosen field / project before granting financial assistance. Many castes of Muslim minority communities also fall under the EBC category. In the state of Bihar, around 130 castes are listed under the EBC category of the state government. Out of these, about 36 castes including Ansari, Julaha, Momin, Dhunia, Chuhiyar, Bakhho, Rangrej, Madar etc. come from the Muslim community.

Benefits of Bihar Chief Minister EBC Entrepreneurship Scheme 2020

After obtaining approval from the Bihar State Cabinet, the Chief Minister EBC Entrepreneurship Scheme will come into force from the current financial year. The new scheme will bring unprecedented socio-economic changes among the members of EBC as most of the castes under this category are either artisans or traditional entrepreneurship. 10 lakh rupees will help them financially.

The Department of Industry has already prepared a proposal and it will be sent to the Cabinet Secretariat Department for its next cabinet meeting. Apart from the state government. Bihar has also provided reservation to members of EBC in three-tier Panchayati Raj Institutions to ensure socio-political uplift of backward classes.
