Telangana Modified Asra Pension Scheme

As per the government’s announcement now, all the existing pension amount has been revised under the Asra Pension Scheme and now the state government will bear an additional burden of Rs 12,000 crore annually. The Chief Minister of Telangana has announced amendments under the pension on 29 May 2019. A nodal agency is functioning under the Rural Development Department, Government of Telangana. Every year, the Asra Pension Scheme application form provides pension benefits to the beneficiaries by inviting the nodal agency.

Purpose of TS New Aasra Pension Scheme

The Telangana government wants to provide better living opportunities to all eligible beneficiaries so that all the beneficiaries can remain self-sufficient and meet their daily needs with a monthly pension. Old age pension eligibility

Applicant must be over 65 years of age or equal to

Phase of implementation of TS Asra Pension Scheme
