LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2020
The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship has been developed to provide scholarships to all students who are academically excellent in acquiring knowledge. Also, through this scheme the economically backward section of the society will be encouraged so that they can waste their time without any financial burden or without earning daily salary. Through this scholarship, more opportunities will be provided to the economically backward section of the society.

Scope of the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2020
LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship will be awarded to the following students only: –
- Students studying in India-
- Government
- Private College / University.
- Students studying
- Technical course OR
- Professional courses in the following institutions-
- Industrial training institute
- Industrial Training Center affiliated to National Training Council (NCVT).
Eligibility criteria LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2020
Some eligibility criteria have been finalized by the concerned authorities of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship. The eligibility criteria for different types of applicants are given below: –
For regular scholars
- All candidates must have passed the Class XII examination (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade).
- The examination should pass in the academic year 2018-19.
- The parent / guardian has an annual income of Rs. Must not exceed 1,00,000.
- Only those students who are going for graduation (or its equivalent) are eligible for this scholarship.
- Incentives will be provided only to those students who are interested in pursuing higher education in the following fields-
- Medicine
- Engineering
- Bachelor in any discipline
- Diploma course in any field or other equivalent courses
- Business courses through Government recognized colleges / institutes
- Courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).

Scholarship Precautions
If you are applying for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship, then you should keep in mind the following precautions announced by the authorities concerned.
- Only one student in a family can avail scholarship.
- Students should have proper attendance.
- Income certificate for self-employed parents through an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper and a self-employment for parents supported by documents (from the Department of Revenue) such as land held in the parent’s name from the employer. Must be on certification basis.
- Violations of any terms and conditions may lead to the suspension or cancellation of the scholarship.
- If a student is found to have received a scholarship by false statement / certificate, the scholarship may be suspended or canceled.
- LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation will give detailed procedure for processing and sanction of scholarship to eligible students.
- The scheme will be evaluated by LICGJF at regular intervals.
- The rules may be changed at any time at the discretion of the Board of Trustees of LICGJF.
Special Girl for Child Scholar
- Applicant must be a girl.
- Applicant must have pursued 10th grade.
- Incentives will be provided for pursuing higher studies in 10 + 2 pattern for two years.
- The candidate must have passed the tenth grade examination (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade).
- The examination should pass in the academic year 2018-19.
- The parent / guardian has an annual income of Rs. Must not exceed 1,00,000.
LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Award
The following values will be distributed among the beneficiaries of the scholarship scheme: –
- Regular Scholar: Rs. 20,000 / – per year will be provided which will be payable in three quarterly installments.
- Special Girl Child Scholar: An amount of Rs 10,000 / – will be provided which will be payable in three quarterly installments.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2020 User Guidelines
Terms and conditions
- Selection of candidates will be based on merit and family background such as percentage of marks in class 12th / 10th and annual income of the family. Eligible students with the lowest income will be given preference in ascending order.
- The candidate should secure more than 55% marks in professional streams and 50% marks in undergraduate course in Arts / Science / Commerce or equivalent grade in the last final examination of the course for which scholarship is awarded, failing which The scholarship will be discontinued.
- Scholarships will not be given to more than one student in a family.
- Students should be present regularly for which yardstick will be decided by the competent authority of the school / college / university.
- Income certificate for self-employed parents through an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper and from employer for employed parents supported by documents, (from the Department of Revenue) such as the land held in the name of the land Name must be on a self-certification basis.
- If a student violates any of the terms and conditions of the scholarship, the scholarship may be suspended or canceled.
- If a student is found to have received the scholarship by incorrect statement / certificate, his / her scholarship will be canceled and the amount of scholarship paid will be recovered at the discretion of the concerned Divisional Administration of LIC.
- LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation will give detailed procedure for processing and sanction of scholarship to eligible students.
- The scheme will be evaluated by LICGJF at regular intervals.
- The rules may be changed at any time at the discretion of the Board of Trustees of LICGJF.
