Kidney / Cancer Patient New Pension Scheme 2020 in this Haryana, State Govt. Will provide Rs. 2250 every month for his treatment. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar gave his approval for the scheme.

State government. Haryana is considering to include cancer patients under the ambit of its Social Security Pension Scheme on the lines of old age pension. In addition, data from patients suffering from severe kidney diseases are also included.
Haryana Kidney / Cancer Patient Pension Scheme 2020
State government. Haryana has given in-principle approval to the Haryana Kidney / Cancer Patients Pension Scheme on 31 May 2020. Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. The state will have a nodal agency to implement the new pension scheme for citizens suffering from cancer and kidney disease. Financial assistance to such individuals will prove to be very valuable and is a very commendable step.

Like other social security schemes like old age pension, widow pension, handicapped pension, state government. Online applications can be invited for this scheme. Eligibility criteria for the plan
To become eligible for the new kidney / cancer patient pension scheme in Haryana, all applicants should fulfill the following eligibility criteria: –
- Applicant should be a permanent resident of Haryana.
- He / she should be suffering from cancer / severe kidney diseases.
- Applicants must be over 18 years of age. For minors, the assistance amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of their parents / guardians.
- His / her spouse along with his / her income from all sources is Rs. It is not more than that. 2,00,000 per year.
Notwithstanding the above, any person receiving pension from any government or local / statutory body or any organization funded by any government or local / statutory body will not be eligible to receive allowance under the scheme.

Other Public Welfare Initiatives by Haryana State Government.
Government of Haryana One Nation has pledged to implement the Central Government concept of One Ration Card. Now all migrant laborers coming to Haryana from other states will not need separate ration card. Instead, migrant workers will be able to get their ration here through the online system with a single ration card. This scheme will be introduced for migrants from all states where ration card has been linked online to Aadhaar card.
Through this 1 nation 1 ration card scheme, all eligible beneficiaries of the National Food Security Act (NFSA) will be able to get their share of food grains from any fair price shop anywhere in the country using the same ration card. Haryana has made all kinds of preparations in this regard and now ration will be distributed to the beneficiaries under this portability system.
This new system will prove to be very beneficial for the migrants. With this, migrants will not have to obtain a new ration card after moving to another state, and there will be greater transparency throughout the system. The central and state governments are determined to raise the standard of living of individuals at the lowest rung.
