Bihar Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme application form for senior citizen of the state has been released by the Chief Minister of the state. Under this scheme, any BPL ration card holder senior citizen who is above 60 years of age or above can fill Bihar Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme application form on the official website @ www.sspmis.in. 36 lakh beneficiaries will be covered under Bihar Universal Old Age Pension Scheme. The Bihar government has appointed the Social Welfare Department as a nodal agency to implement the Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme.
Bihar Universal Old Age Pension Scheme Registration Form
So far 2 lakh senior citizens have applied for the Bihar Old Age Pension Scheme and the government has transferred the pension amount for two months (April and May) to the accounts of 1.5 lakh beneficiaries. In order to provide better transparency between the beneficiary and the concerned department, the government is transferring these funds through direct bank transfer method.
Objective of Bihar Chief Minister Vrjan Pension Yojana
The state government wants to empower senior citizens and to fulfill this objective the Social Welfare Department has launched Bihar Universal Old Age Pension Scheme. About 36 lakh senior citizens will be involved in old age pension scheme. Rs 400 will be given to the beneficiary in the age group of 60-79 years and Rs 500 for those 80 and above.

- The applicant who wants to implement Bihar Older Pension Scheme, will have to fill the online application form on the official website
- On the official website, you will find the “Register MVPY Scheme” section.
- Now click on the option and open a tab just like that.
- Now fill all the details like Bihar Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana Registration Form like District, Block, Aadhaar Number, Name and then click on Validate button.
- After successful validation, click on the Proceed button.
