The National Testing Agency has released an official notification regarding NEET 2020 exam on Monday, December 2, 2019. Registration for the NEET 2020 exam will begin at 4 pm today. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for NEET 2020 on ntaneet.nic.in on or before 31 December 2019, by 11:50 pm.
Candidates can now fill the NEET 2020 application form. NTA has released the form on ntaneet.nic.in. The last date to apply for NEET is December 31, 2019, and the exam is scheduled to be held on May 03, 2020. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is a Single Entrance Test for the admission of candidates in Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Sidd / Anani / Homeopathy courses. 15% all India quota seats are filled through MCC counseling based on NEET rank. NEET 2020 Application Form Apply
- Candidates are able to fill the NEET 2020 application form through online mode.
- You can fill only one application form. Filling more than one application form will cancel the forms.
- The application form of NEET 2020 has been released by NTA from 2 December 2019.
- The last date to fill the application form will be till 31 December 2019.
- In order to obtain login credentials, candidates must provide a working phone number and email ID at the time of registration.
- Candidates have to submit the recent photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression and class 10th pass certificate in the prescribed format to avoid rejection of images later.
- Printout of the application form is not required to be sent to the board.

- General Category: Rs.1500/-

- Candidates will have to also pay additional charges & GST.
Mode of Payment: Candidates are able to pay the Application Fee through online mode. Credit Card/Debit Card/Net-banking/UPI/Paytm are available as online mode. No offline mode is available for fee payment.
NEET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian citizens, non-resident Indians (NRIs), expatriate citizens of India (OCI), persons of Indian origin (PIO) and foreign nationals are eligible to apply for NEET (UG).
- Citizens of India and foreign nationals wishing to pursue UG medical courses from foreign institutions will also have to qualify NEET GG.
- Eligibility for 15% All India Quota Seats: Candidates from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are eligible to apply under the 15% All India Quota on the basis of self-declaration only.
- Age Limit: Candidates must have completed minimum 17 years of age by or before 31 December 2020. Upper age limit is 25 years as on the date of examination (SC, ST, OBC-NCL and PWD candidates are exempted).
- Candidates above 25 years of age are allowed to appear provisional and their candidature is subject to the result of petitions pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
- Eligibility: Candidates must have completed 12th level or equivalent examination.
- Mandatory Subject: Students of 12th level must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology along with English as a compulsory subject.
- Percentage: 12th level candidates should get minimum 50% marks for General and General-EWS categories; 45% marks for PH and 40% marks for SC / ST / OBC category candidates in PCB group.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in their qualifying examination or waiting for their result are also eligible for NEET (UG).
Steps to fill NEET Application Form 2020
The National Testing Agency will release the NEET 2020 application form in online mode from 4:00 pm on December 2, 2019. To fill the NEET application, the candidates have to follow the five steps given below. Before applying for NEET 2020, it is advisable to keep the necessary documents ready.
1. NEET 2020 Registration: Candidates have to enter their name, email id, mobile number, gender etc. so that they can generate their provisional application number and login credentials.
2. Login to fill NEET application form 2020: Next candidates should use the given NEET 2020 login ID and password to fill personal, academic and communication details
3. Upload Photograph, Signature and other documents: Details and details of photograph and signature are given below.
4. Pay the application fee of NEET: Candidates have to pay the prescribed fee, the details of which are given below. The payment mode is through online net banking, debit / credit card etc. or only through cash deposits (e-challan) paid at the branches of State Bank of India.
5. Print Confirmation Page: After the payment has been made and the details are presented, the candidates have to download the confirmation page and save it.
NEET 2020 Exam Pattern
- Exam Mode: NEET 2020 exam will be conducted through offline (pen-paper based) mode.
- Question Type: The question paper will contain objective type questions.
- Medium: The question paper will be available in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oriya, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and Kannada languages.
- No questions: The paper will have a total of 180 questions.
- Total Marks: The paper will carry a total of 720 marks.
- Duration: NEET exam duration is 3 hours.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will carry 4 marks.
- Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

NEET 2020 Syllabus
NEET (UG) has subjects in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. Some topics from each subject will be as follows:
Physics: It contains Law of Motion, Electrostatic, Electromagnetic Waves, Electronic Devices, Behavior of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Properties of Bulk Matter, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, etc.
Chemistry: Subjects are some basic concepts of chemistry, equilibrium, hydrogen, electro chemistry, surface chemistry, electrochemistry, alcohols, phenols and ethers, p-block elements, etc.
Biology: Some basic subjects are human physiology, plant physiology, reproduction, ecology and environment, cell structure and function, diversity in the world, biology and human welfare, etc.
