About WBMDFC Scholarship
The West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation Scholarship 2020 is for students who are studying. The objective behind this scholarship scheme is to provide financial assistance to financially weak students for studies and to encourage them to study. Beneficiaries will get scholarship amount up to Rs. 33000 / -. The scholarship will be disbursed directly to the beneficiaries in their bank account. The selection of beneficiaries will be done on the basis of order of merit and will be subject to budgetary allocation provided by the state government.
Type of scholarship
- West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship: This scholarship is for meritorious students from class one to class ten.
- West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship: This scholarship is for meritorious students from class-XI to Ph.D.
- West Bengal Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: This scholarship is for advancing technical and vocational courses.
- Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship Scheme for Minorities: This scholarship is for minorities who are following technical and vocational courses.
- Talent Assistance Wizifa: This is a state government sponsored program. 30% scholarship is reserved for girl students.
