The scholarship helps high school students to continue their studies in science and related subjects. Students studying in eleventh grade get a scholarship for 2 years. This time can be extended up to 3 years depending on the performance of the student in related subjects.

Application and eligibility criteria:
- It is recommended for principals of higher secondary schools in Gujarat to include students of class 11 in the science stream.
- Principals can register their schools through the school registration menu.
- Some schools have multiple mediums like English / Gujarati / Hindi.
- There is an option for such schools to register each medium separately.
- A maximum of 7 students can be enrolled from each medium.
Important Dates of PRL Arunalal Scholarship
- Screening test to be conducted: 05 January 2020
- National Science Day Activities: 29 January 2020
Arunalal Scholarship Screening Test:
- The screening test will be conducted on 05 January 2020.
- It will be conducted on online and offline mode.
- The exam will be conducted in 16 different centers in Gujarat.
- There is an option to choose the test mode while completing the school registration process.
- Schools must agree to the terms and conditions when opting for the online mode.
The offline test will be OMR based.
Arunalal Scholarship Selection Process
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list.
- 150 students will be selected for the final round.
- The final round will be held on Saturday, 29 February 2020 at the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad.
