Government of Andhra Pradesh is going to provide AP Cattle Health Card by May 2020. All families identified through livestock census will benefit and can apply for AP Cattle Health Card Scheme. AP Health Card Scheme Implementation Process – How to Download Livestock Card
Owners of cattle in every household in Andhra Pradesh will be given health cards under the AP Cattle Health Card scheme. About 25 lakh such families have been identified through livestock census conducted in FY 2019. According to the census, approx. 16 crore bovine and 2.37 crore sheep and goats will be covered under this service. People can apply for cattle health card online at 11,158 Ratho Bharasa centers. The AP Health Card will also include medical assistance for newborn calves. According to an estimate, Andhra Pradesh produces about 12 lakh calves every year. In Livestock Loss Compensation Scheme, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The following compensation will be provided: –
