Government of Andhra Pradesh state is going to introduce AP YSR Law Nestham Scheme for all junior advocates and lawyers. Under the scheme, beneficiaries to meet the eligibility criteria have to pay Rs. 5000 / – per month. AP YSR Law Nestham Scheme
Chief Minister Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy has announced that the AP YSR Vidya Nestam scheme will be launched on 3 December 2019 on the occasion of National Lawyers Day. The scheme is to be launched for junior advocates and lawyers. As per this scheme, the government will give Rs 5000 / – per month to the beneficiaries who meet the eligibility criteria. Benefit of AP YSR Law Nestham Scheme
The appellants who meet the eligibility criteria of YSR Vidya Nestam scheme will get a benefit of Rs 5000 / – every month.
Important Dates:
- The date for filling the form is 30 October 2019.
- The last date for filling the form is 13 November 2019.
Eligibility criteria
- Contestants should be law graduates who have passed out in 2016 and beyond.
- Under Section 17 of the Appellants Act, 1961, the name of the appellant should be entered in the role of advocate made by the Andhra Pradesh State Bar Council.
- The period of practice shall be counted from the date mentioned on the certificate of nomination issued under Section 22 of the Advocates Act, 1961.
- Applicants who started practice but did not complete the first three years of practice can also apply for the remaining time
- Applicant must have Aadhaar Card
- The age of the applicant should not be more than 35 years from the date of issue of G.O.
Procedure to apply for
- To apply for the plan appellants, one needs to visit the official website.
- Now click on the register option from the page that appears on the desktop.
- Select “Aadhaar / VID number with OTP”, “Aadhaar / VID number with biometric” or “Aadhaar / VID number with IRIS”
- First, enter your Aadhaar / VID number and then first verify it as your chosen option
- Now enter the details asked in the application form like name, father’s name, gender, date of birth etc.
- Upload your recently clicked photo and mention your alternate mobile number and email id
- Enter your address details, job details, education details, caste details and bank details
- Submit information and upload required documents
- Review the application form and submit it
- Be sure to take a print out for further use. Note your application ID.
