Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) is a platform for all Muslim professionals and willing volunteers to share their knowledge, wisdom, knowledge, knowledge, and skills for the holistic development of the Muslim community and to empower Muslims on the educational, social, political and economic fronts of the Muslim community. AMP was established in the year 2007 by a group of Indian citizens and is registered with Charity Commission as a welfare organization under Societies Registration Act 1860 of India (Reg. No: 2011G.B.B.S.D3001). It is fully funded by its members and other socially conscious individuals (patrons).
AMP Scholarship Fund for Higher Education 2021 is a scholarship opportunity for Muslim students who want to pursue higher and technical education. The aim of the scholarship is to enable talented and capable individuals from the Muslim community to acquire the right skills and qualifications required to grab the contemporary opportunities and keep pace with the rapidly developing world. Students from economically poor families, at least top 300 meritorious and needy students can avail this, at least Rs 10,000 will be given as scholarship for their studies.
Eligibility criteria:
- Candidates must have passed at least class 12th / equivalent from any board.
- Preference will be given to candidates pursuing higher education in professional disciplines of Medicine, Law, Journalism, Engineering with special preference to top universities or colleges in India such as IITs, IIMs, IISC or GLCs and others.
- Candidate must be eligible to receive Zakat under Sharia guidelines.
- The disbursement will be done through check to the concerned college only. No cash disbursements will be considered.
- The scholarship will be awarded to the meritorious and needy students only after the complete background verification.
Required Documents:
- 10th and 12th class or equivalent passing certificate / mark sheet.
- All mark sheets of the previous year of professional course (for candidates already enrolled in the middle of the course).
- Copies of photo and address proof (preferably Aadhar Card) or (PAN Card / Ration Card).
Scholarship Award
As per the latest official notification, top 300 meritorious and needy candidates can avail this scholarship and get an award of Rs.10,000/-.
