Out of this, PSLV is used to launch small and light rockets. More than 70 satellites have been launched by PSLV so far. GSLV is used to launch heavy satellites. Which are at an altitude of 36 thousand kilometers from the Earth.

Under the Chandrayaan-1 campaign, ISRO sent an unmanned vehicle to the moon for research. But Chandrayaan-1 worked only for 10 months.
