- E-pass registration has been made compulsory for interstate and international travelers as well as inter-district travelers
- Only for the purpose of necessary activities like funeral, medical treatment, marriage etc., people will be allowed to travel after filling the form on the official website.
- Previously vegetable, meat, grocery and other shops were allowed to operate till noon, but now they can operate from 6 am to 10 am with only 50% occupancy.
- Pavement shops that were selling perishable goods like fruits, vegetables, flowers, are now banned
- Tea shops are also not allowed to operate
- E-commerce services will be allowed to operate from 2 pm onwards. at 6 pm.
- Full lockdown will apply on sunday
- Night curfew will also continue
- All ATMs, petrol pumps, pharmacy and natural chemists will be allowed to operate as usual

To apply for COVID Epass, you have to follow the simple procedure given below:
- Step – 1 – First of all you have to go to the site of https://eregister.tnega.org/#/user/pass.
- Step – 2 – Next, you have to choose from this option whether you are traveling from any other state of India or from a foreign land.
- Step – 3 – On the next page you have to give your mobile number and enter the captcha code.
- Step 4 – Now click on Send OTP.
- Step 5 – On the next page you will have to verify the OTP on your mobile number to verify.
- Step – 6 – Now on the next page, you have to select the e-pass type that you want to avail yourself.
- Step – 7 – Based on the selection made by you, a form will come up which you will have to fill.
- Step – 8 – Now you have to upload the necessary documents like medical report, or wedding invitation card, and others to prove the purpose of your trip.
- Step 9 – The e-pass will be submitted only after thorough verification of the details provided by you and this may take time. By this time, you will get an application number to check the status.
