GOKDOM Scholarship 2023, Application Form, Eligibility, Date & Rewards: The Directorate of Minorities under the Government of Karnataka is known as GOKDOM which focuses primarily on issues that are notified by minorities like Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains and Buddhists in the state of Karnataka. As it is based in Bengaluru, the directorate acts as the nodal agency for all schemes including scholarships. This GOKDOM Scholarship is being run by the state and central government for the welfare of minorities.

The students belonging to other states that are studying in Karnataka cannot apply. Domicile of Karnataka is required. |
Post-Matric Scholarship for the minority community of Karnataka | Studying in 11th to Ph.D. level. Minimum 50% must be in previous examination. The annual family income: Not be more than Rs. 2 Lakh. The students pursuing studies through certificate/training or correspondence courses cannot apply. The students belonging to other states that are studying in Karnataka cannot apply. |
Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for the minority community, Karnataka | Studying in graduation or post-graduation in a technical or professional stream. Minimum 50% marks must be in previous examination. Annual family income: Not be above Rs. 2.5 Lakh per annum. |
National Overseas Scholarship for the minority Community Students, Karnataka | Maximum age: 38 years from the course commencement. 60% marks must be in previous examination The scholarship is applicable only for selective courses. |

GOKDOM Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2023
Candidates from minority communities can apply for GOKDOM Scholarship 2023. A brief description can be given in the table below.
For pre-matric scholarship for minorities of Karnataka
- Candidate should be from class 1 to 10.
- Applicant should be above 50% in previous examinations.
- The family income of the student should not exceed Rs 1 lakh per year.
- Applicant must be a native of Karnataka.
- Students who are domicile of Karnataka but studying in other states can apply for the scholarship.
Post-matric scholarship for minorities of Karnataka
- Applicant must have been awarded Ph.D. Level can apply.
- The candidate has to score above 50% in the previous examinations.
- The family income of the student should not exceed Rs.2 lakhs per annum.
- A student studying through correspondence or certificate / training level courses cannot apply.
- Students belonging to other states studying in Karnataka cannot apply.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities, Karnataka
- The student should be a graduate or post graduate in professional / technical stream.
- The marks obtained by the candidate should be above 50% in the previous examinations.
National Migrant Scholarship for Minority Community Students, Karnataka
- The applicant should not be more than 38 years of age at the commencement of the course.
- The marks obtained by the candidate in the previous examination should be 60%.
- The scholarship applies only to selective courses.
Incentives for SSLC and 2nd PUC Students, Karnataka
- Candidates should have 85% or more in class 10th or 12th.
M. Phil and Ph.D. Fellowship for Minority Students, Karnataka
- The age of the applicant should not be more than 35 years.
- The student’s family income should be less than Rs. 6 lakhs.
- Government employees or full-time employees are not eligible to apply.
