ENSURE 2.0 is developed by the online portal NABARD. ENSURE Direct Transfer (DBT) will operate under the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries. The objective of developing the ENSURE portal is to make the subsidy transfer process faster and faster. With the help of this online portal, the government will transfer the subsidy amount directly to the beneficiary’s account. The department covers poultry, small ruminants, dairy schemes etc. under NABARD Entrepreneur Subsidy Scheme.

Government of India wants to provide a very simple, useful and transparent system to the beneficiary for NABARD schemes. ENSURE 2.0 has been developed by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) to improve the beneficiary’s application process. After approval of the subsidy amount, the fund will be directly transferred to the beneficiary’s account. The beneficiaries can easily view the status and application process from time to time on this online website. The portal is providing transparency between the government and the beneficiary.

How does the NABARD ENSURE Online Portal Work?

According to the Press Information Bureau of the Government of India, the Union Minister Shri Radha Mohan Singh said that after scrutiny and approval of the proposal, under the Controller Officer / Branch Manager of the Bank, uploads the subsidy claims thereon. The subsidy will be approved within 30 days from the date of approval of the loan. Earlier, even after approval of loan, subsidy used to take a long time to reach the beneficiary’s account. Through this process, the flow of information / money will also be quicker and more accountable.
