AP Samporana Nutrition Plus Scheme
To help the people of the state of Andhra Pradesh, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is fully ready to launch the AP YSR Samporan Potion Plus Scheme. The plan is all set to launch on 1 September 2020 date. You will be very happy to know that through this scheme presented by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, a lot of benefits will be given to pregnant women, new mothers and infants. The scheme will be implemented in 77 ancestral divisions of the state. Similarly, another YSR connectivity scheme will be realigned to live in plain areas. The new diet plans will be secured through 55,607 Anganwadi centers, including about 3 million women.
The new diet plan will be covered through 55,607 Anganwadi centers, which include around 30 lakh women. There are about 47,287 Anganwadi centers in the plains from where about 27 lakh women and children will be involved. Approximately Rs 1,555 crore will be spent for Anganwadi centers in the plain areas. The remaining budget will be spared for 3 lakh women and infants in tribal areas.

YSR Complete Nutrition Features
- About 3 lakh ancestral women and youth will be secured through 8,320 Anganwadis, including 77 ancestral circles.
- Pregnant women and newborns will get nutritious diet for one and a half years to 3 years.
- Eggs and milk will be given to youth aged 3 to 6 years.
- The officers have to pay Rs. 1100 every month for giving diet to pregnant women and Rs. 553 PM for feeding the youth in the ancestral areas
- An expenditure plan of Rs. A provision of Rs 308 crore has been made for the use of AP YSR Samporan Potion Plus Scheme.
Eligibility criteria
To apply for the scheme, the applicant should follow the following eligibility criteria: –
- Only pregnant women and lactating mothers of the state can apply for the scheme
- Children can also apply for the scheme
- Applicant should belong to lower income group or backward categories
- Applicant should be domicile of Andhra Pradesh.
- Candidates between the age of 6 to 72 months will get benefits under the scheme.
Nomination process
The nomination process step by step in AP Sampoorna Plus Plus Scheme is given below: –
- Anganwadi workers will survey the Anganwadi Center (AWC) catchment area to enroll beneficiaries
- All children (6 months to 6 years), pregnant women, lactating mothers will be registered under AP Sampurna Potion Plus scheme.
- The applicant’s details will be registered in the Common Application Software (CAS) to monitor service delivery.
- Every month, the development monitoring (height and weight) of every child will be done at the Anganwadi center.
- AWW / Supervisor SUM / SAM / MAM will present the list of children to ASHA / ANM / MO (PHO).
- The weight of pregnant women will be monitored every month at the Anganwadi center and recorded in CAS.
- Pregnant women, lactating mothers will be educated to use the protein, energy-based take-home ration provided without distribution among family members.
