YSR Cheyutha Yojana ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ వైయస్ఆర్ చెయుత పథకం – or “Jagannath Cheyutha ” is a new scheme launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to provide financial assistance to women in the state. Government of Andhra Pradesh. Announced some welfare schemes in June 2014 and one of those schemes was Mahila Kalyan Yojana named YSR Cheyutha Yojana 2020. Through this scheme, the AP government wants to support all women of SC, ST, BC and minority communities.
YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2020
Under YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2020, the State Govt. Will provide Rs. 75,000 to all women belonging to SC / ST / BC / minority communities over a period of 4 years. Hence the annual amount of Rs. 18,750 per year will be provided as financial assistance to all eligible women in the state. About 3 lakh women in the entire state are expected to get benefits through this scheme.
All poor women who are deprived of various basic facilities can use the funds given under the YSR Chyutha Yojana and lead a life of honor and dignity. To avail the AP YSR Cheyutha Yojana, women must be over 45 years of age, while the maximum age is 60 years.
YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2020 Eligibility
Applicants desirous of availing the YSR Cheyutha Yojana 2020 should fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the State Government. Following are the basic eligibility criteria of the scheme:
- The age of women should be between 45 years to 60 years
- Women should belong to disadvantaged sections of the society i.e. SC, ST, BC or minority community.
- Applicant women should be resident of Andhra Pradesh.
- Total land holdings should not be more than 3 acres of wetland or 10 acres of dry land
- No family member should be a government employee
- Applicant family should not have four wheeler (taxi, auto and tractor are exempted from this)
- Applicant’s monthly electricity consumption should be less than 300 units per month

CM Jagan promised to realize Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy’s dream to “convert women into lakhisars” under the YSR Shyut Yojana in Andhra Pradesh. An amount of Rs. 75,000 (for 4 years) will be released in 4 equal installments through the respective corporations. All eligible women will be provided pension amount starting from the age of 45 under the YSR Shyut Yojana.
How to apply for YSR Cheyutha Yojana?
Eligible women who belong to the below categories can apply in this scheme only through offline mode.
- Before applying for the scheme, the applicant has to produce documents like caste certificate, Aadhaar card, income certificate, domicile certificate, bank account pass book details, age proof, mobile number and passport size photograph.
- The Gramma volunteer of the assigned geographic area will collect all documents and examine all documents for eligibility criteria.
- After verifying all the eligible applicants once again, the Gramma Secretariat will make the final list of beneficiaries of the personnel.
Phase of implementation of online YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2020
- Go to the official website YSR Cheyutha Yojana i.e. http://navasakam.ap.gov.in/.
- On the homepage, click the “Apply Now” button.
- The application form page will be displayed on the screen.
- Now enter the required details (enter all the details like name, father / husband name, date of birth, gender, caste and other information) and upload the document.
- Click the submit button to submit the application.
YSR Cheyutha Plan 2020 Budget
For the success of the YSR Cheyutha scheme, the state government will spend a total of Rs. 17000 crores over a period of 4 years. The Cheyutha Scheme 2020 aims to provide a better life to the underprivileged women of the state by providing them monthly financial support.
The YSR Cheyutha Scheme will help socio-economically disadvantaged women to enter entrepreneurship and help them build strong, rewarding businesses. The state government has already transferred the first financial assistance of Rs. 18,750 accounts from each of the 23L beneficiaries.
YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2020 Beneficiary List
There are about 23 lakh women in the state, who are in the list of beneficiaries of YSR Cheyutha Yojana 2020, but the state government has not yet released any beneficiary list or Cheyutha Yojana. However, the beneficiary list can be released soon to make the scheme more transparent and the beneficiaries can check their status.
Other benefits of YSR Cheyutha Scheme
8 lakh widows and single women in the age group between 45 and 60 years, who are already receiving monthly social pension, will also be able to avail YSR shayut. “The annual amount received by women eligible for pension is Rs. 27,000 at the rate of Rs. 2,250 per month. Additionally, he received Rs. 18,750 per annum under YSR Cheyutha. The total amount comes to Rs 45,750 per year.
