Farmers / SHGs can fill the Working Capital Demand Loan application form under s.co.vd emergency credit line (CCECL) scheme at sbu.co.in. State Bank of India (SBI) has announced COVID-19 relief measures for agriculture and rural sector. As part of this, the Common Kovid-19 Emergency Credit Line Scheme has been launched to provide relief to agricultural borrowers, agricultural entrepreneurs and SHG members to deal with the outbreak of Kovid 19 epidemic.

This farmer / SHG loan application online form will extend an additional credit facility to eligible existing borrowers. This is done by ad-hoc facilities ie Common Kovid 19 Emergency Credit Line to maintain Agri-Income Generation Activity. All existing KCC / ACC / ABAL / SHG ACC borrowers, all standard accounts including SMA 0 and SMA 1 with a risk grade of 0, 1, 2 are eligible for the CCECL scheme. However, SMA2 is not eligible.

Common COVID Emergency Credit Line (CCECL) Scheme Details

The complete details of the Common COVID Emergency Credit Line (CCECL) scheme for providing working capital demand loans to farmers / SHG members are as follows: –

Maximum / minimum working capital demand loan under CCECL scheme

Here is the minimum and maximum working capital demand loan under CCECL Scheme 2020: –

1) The maximum loan amount is 10% of the existing limit with the maximum. Cap Rs. 2 crores Rs.

2) For self-help group, Rs. 5,000 is the minimum amount per member.

No margin is required under the Common COVID-19 Emergency Credit Line (CCECL) scheme. The scheme (CCECL) will remain in force till 30 June 2020. The draw-down facility will be allowed in either single installment or a maximum of three installments till 31 July 2020.

Rate of interest for CCECL scheme

Currently, the applicable interest rate for CCECL scheme is 7.40% pa. The 1-year MCLR (Marginal Cost of Funds Lending Rate) is to be reset after one year. Demand loan facility is available for a maximum period of 24 months (2 years) under CCECL scheme.

Repayment period for loan under CCECL scheme

Following are the repayment periods of loans under CCECL Scheme 2020: –

  • For existing KCC borrowers: will coincide with the repayment period of KCC (Primary Account) subject to a maximum of 12 months.
  • For existing ABAL / SHG borrowers: Repayment in 18 EMIS after 6 months deferment from the date of disbursement.

There is no processing / inspection / prepayment / penal interest charges for loans availed under CCECL.
