Himachal Pradesh Government. A new Indian portal for horticulture (farmers) (www.eudyan.hp.gov.in) and e-Udayan mobile app has been launched. Now farmers can apply online and fill the application form on HP e-Udayan portal or app to get the benefit of horticulture services. In this new integrated horticulture sector management system (IHSMS), the process of filling the horticulture farmer registration form is simple and hassle free. This portal enables the government. Work as per Citizen’s Charter under Himachal Pradesh Public Service Guarantee Act.

For the horticulture services mentioned later, farmers can apply online at eudyan.hp.gov.in. The new e-Udyan portal and app will also provide online processing facility for the officers of Horticulture Department of Himachal Pradesh. eUdyan portal / app will enable farmers to provide timely delivery.

Horticulture Farmer Registration on HP eUdyan Portal

Below is the complete process to register horticulture farmer by filling online application form on HP eUdyan portal: –

  • Visit to the official website
  • On the homepage, click on the “Sign up” link in the main menu to open the horticulture farmer registration form.
  • Here applicants can enter personal details including Aadhaar number, date of birth, mobile number, upload photo, address details and login details.
  • Finally, applicants can click on the “Submit” button to complete the horticultural farmer registration process on the EUDN HP portal.

About Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Development Project (HPHDP)

Himachal Pradesh exhibits strong comparative advantage and potential for production and supply of high value horticultural goods. The state’s agriculture is dominated by high-value horticultural goods, which account for about 44% of the cropped area, and about 48% of agriculture contributes to the gross state domestic product (GSDP). Horticulture in HP is responsible for many positive outcomes of employment, wages and poverty reduction.

Development of horticulture in Himachal Pradesh is envisaged with the help of Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Development Project funded by World Bank. HPHDP aims to support small farmers and agro-entrepreneurs in Himachal Pradesh to increase productivity, quality and market access of selected horticultural commodities.
