My name is XYZ. I study in class XI I want to give a speech on the subject of travel and tourism in India. Tourism is a very important source in the economic development of the country. However, tourist destinations need to be invested first, for the purpose of making them cleaner, more attracted, safe for tourists. If we analyze the level of tourism in the country, then a question arises that what did we do to promote tourism in our country? Have we maintained proper sanitation and cleanliness in all the villages, towns and cities of the country? Our country is famous for having attractive tourist destinations all over the world. Every year people from all over the world come in a huge crowd to see the sights. As we all know that India is a very famous country for its amazing travel and tourist destinations all over the world. Tourism in any country plays a very important role in the economic growth and development of that country. If we look at tourism in India, it is India’s second largest source of earning through foreign exchange by foreign tourists. A large percentage of people’s lives in India depend only on tourism because in India, a large number of both skilled and unskilled people are engaged in the tourism industry. Tourism in any country promotes national reciprocity and international brotherhood.
Our country is full of natural and culturally beautiful and attractive places which attracts people from all over the world. The availability of many diverse geographical scenes, places, things and celebrations in India make the tourists merry every year like; Monuments, museums, forts, sanctuaries, shrines, palaces, handicrafts, fairs, festivals, classical and folk dances, music, language, Agra, Jaipur, Jhansi, Nalanda, Mysore, Hyderabad, Mahabaleshwar, Delhi, Aurangabad, Ujjain, Shirdi, Haridwar, Varanasi, Puri, Allahabad, Amritsar, Ajmer, Vaishno Devi, Badrinath, Rameswaram, Kedarnath, Srinagar, Manali, Kullu, Dehradun, Darjeeling, Nainital, Ooty, Shimla, Kashmir etc. .
Variety of interesting activities such as: water sports, sailing, scuba diving, rafting, skiing, mountaineering, houseboats, winter sports, etc. promote tourism in India. In order to encourage people to tourism, a campaign called ‘Incredible India’ was launched by the Tourism Development Corporation of India (ITDC) in 2005. To promote tourism in India, tourist places are also divided under departments, such as spiritual tourism, ‘eco-tourism’, ‘spa tourism’, and ‘adventure tourism’.
Pollution in India has affected Indian tourism in a big way, for example, we can see the current state of the Taj Mahal in Agra, just because of the negligence of the authorities concerned, the waste of the Mathura Refinery affects the stones of the Taj Mahal in Agra Have been. Due to improvement in technological advancement all over the world, purton has become a fast growing business worldwide. People from developed countries come for tourism in developing countries. However, people from developing countries do not go for tourism in developed countries due to low income levels. Tourism in developing countries is also high due to low prices and cheap travel packages. However, there are positive effects of tourism in the country as well as its negative effects.
