RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2020-21
The Right to Education Act 2009 states that 25% of the seats are reserved for the child who belongs to the families of the week financially in prestigious schools. Admissions are open to primary classes (Nursery, LKG, UKG, 1 standard). RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2020 will be started from 3 May 2020. Students wishing to get admission in primary standards under RTE can seek online application before the last date before 18 May 2020.

Eligibility criteria
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of the state
- The family income of the students’ family should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs
- Applicant must be of SC / ST / OBC / EWS category
- The age of the student should be between 6 to 14 years
- For Class 1st Admission : 2nd August 2013- 1st August 2014
- For Class LKG Admission: 1st August 2015 – 8th August 2016

RTE Tamil Nadu admission registration online process
The online application process will start from 3 May 2020. After registration the application will start seeking. You must have a computer with the Internet listed above and scanned documents.

- From the home page of the website you have to go to the registration option
- The instructions will appear on the screen, read them carefully and click on proceed
