Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship 2020 @ www.maef.nic.in – Application Form: Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship in 2020 will soon be issued by Maulana Azad Foundation like Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi for girl claimants belonging to minority community. This scholarship scheme was launched by the Prime Minister of India. At the National Conference of Educational and Economic Development of Minorities on 03.05.2003 at Vigyan Bhawan, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, New Delhi.

The main objective of the Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship is to support the girl students belonging to national minorities and the need for financial assistance to complete their higher education. This scholarship will be admissible for all expenses on payment of school / college fee, acquisition of course books, purchase of stationary / equipment required for the course and payment of boarding / lodging fee.

Eligibility for Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship

  • Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi girl students are eligible for this scholarship scheme.
  • Scholarships will be distributed to minority girls studying in class 9th to 12th, and they have secured at least 50% marks every year.
  • The parent / guardian of the applicant from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.00 Lakhs.
  • Income Certificate (English / Hindi / Regional Language) of parents / guardians to be issued by the competent authority declared by the State Government. Income Certificate in English / Hindi / Regional Language
  • Only “One Application Form” is accepted. If students submit more than one form, all are considered “duplicates” and will be “rejected”.
  • The scholarship amount will be recognized directly in the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT mode.

Important note: Mode of payment of scholarship amount from MAEF like payment of fee, transfer to parent / guardian account and payment through check / DD is not acceptable in any case.

Selection Process: The Foundation will select the students on the criteria of annual income of parents / guardians and who have secured at least 50% marks in the previous examination, however, there is no definite. In the area of ​​scholarship quota based on the population of minorities of each state / union territory.

Scholarship Amount:

  • Admission and tuition fee for classes IX and X: Rs. 1,00,000 / – (maximum ten thousand rupees) for the maximum limit of the actual subject which will be released in two installments of Rs. 5000 / – each
  • Admission and tuition fees for classes XI and XII: Rs. 1000 / – (maximum twelve thousand rupees) for the maximum limit of the actual subject which will be released in two installments of Rs. 6000 / – each
