Dr. Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar was born in 1881 in a family of the depressed class. They were considered untouchables.
Dr. Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar was very clever. He was very fond of reading. He went to England and became a barrister. He started working for the upliftment of the depressed classes.
Dr. Ambedkar was the chairman of the committee of the Constituent Assembly that made the constitution of Independent India. He died in 1956. Even today he is remembered by the people all over the country.
