YSR Cheyutha Scheme is announced in the recent cabinet meeting. This scheme is introduced by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The YSR Cheyutha scheme is a promise of the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government. It is a social security scheme providing financial assistance to the disadvantaged sections of the society. The AP YSR Chyutha Yojana will provide a total of Rs. 75000 in 4 equal installments over four years. Women belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, BCs or minority communities will be considered as beneficiaries under this scheme. Andhra Pradesh YSR Cheyutha Scheme
Every year the state government will provide Rs 19000 to each beneficiary. Financial assistance will be transferred directly through bank transferred methods. AP YSR Cheyutha Scheme will be implemented under the Women Welfare Board of Andhra Pradesh. Women from any disadvantaged community (SC / ST / OBC / minority), who are between 45 and 60 years of age, can avail the AP YSR Chyutha Yojana.
Objective YSR Storytelling Scheme
The objective of the scheme is to empower the SC / ST / OBC / minority communities of the state. The scheme will also ensure better livelihood, better survival and self-reliance to the beneficiaries. The Andhra Pradesh Depressed Classes Financial Assistance Scheme will also improve the poverty level of eligible women.
