SSP Karnataka Scholarship 2020
SSP Karnataka Scholarship 2020 has been announced by the Government of Karnataka. There are four department scholarships under this portal, which you can nominate such as Social Welfare Department, Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department, Backward Classes Welfare Department and Minority Welfare Department. There are about 14 scholarship schemes for which students can apply. The main motive behind these scholarship schemes is to encourage the students to study and to support the economically weaker students of reserved category for further studies.

Procedure to apply for SSP Karnataka Scholarship 2020
First of all you need to create an account with SSP and here are the steps to take:
- To create an account you need to open the official website.
- From the home page, you have to click on the “Create Account” option
- A new page will appear on the computer screen where you have to select the option “Pre-Metric” or “Post-Metric”
- Now enter your SATS ID and click on “Get Data” button
- As soon as you click your details will appear like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, current class and school name
- To continue click on the “Save and Continue” button and a popup message will be displayed, if the displayed SATS details are correct, the applicant should click on the “Yes” button and continue the account creation process.
- Now enter your mobile number and then click on the “Submit” button.
- An OTP will be generated and sent to the mobile number specified by the applicant, click on submit option
- Now create a password, enter “Password” and then in the “Confirm Password” section
- Click the “Submit” option. Then you will get a user ID and password will be sent to the mobile number

- Now enter the user id and password, then click on login
- Now fill the remaining information in the application form

SSP Scholarship Selection Process
- Selection of qualified students based on financial condition and family income. If two or more students have the same family income, the students’ DOB will be considered. That is, preference will be given to students having more age. Only eligible candidates will receive scholarship benefits. The benefits cover course fees and other expenses. This will be transferred to the beneficiary Aadhaar seed bank account through the DBT process.
