Madhya Pradesh Health Insurance Scheme – Health insurance of 10 lakhs to government employees and retirees
The Madhya Pradesh government is going to introduce a new health insurance scheme 2020 for government employees and retired employees working in government jobs. Talking about this government scheme, General Administration Minister Govind Singh said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Kamal Nath, the health insurance scheme provides medical care up to 10 lakh to all serving and retired officers / employees and their families (Cashless Health Insurance Scheme in Madhya Pradesh) Is designed to provide. Cashless treatment up to 10 lakh (Cm Kamal Nath Health Insurance Scheme) will be provided under the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme.
According to CM Health Insurance Scheme 2020 (CM Rs. 10 Lakh Health Insurance Scheme to all serving and retired Govt employees), cashless treatment facility up to Rs. 5 lakh for common diseases and medical treatment up to Rs. 10 lakh for critical illnesses will be provided. According to Administration Minister Govind Singh, about 7.5 lakh serving, working and about 5 lakh retired employees and their families will get the benefit of the cashless treatment health insurance scheme.
According to the General Administration Minister, health, health card will be issued to all employees for taking free treatment in Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (Health Insurance to Serving / Retired Government Servant in Madhya Pradesh).
MP CM Health Insurance Scheme
The main objective of the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme is to ensure good health of serving and retired officers / employees. The benefit of the scheme can be availed only in the hospitals notified by the state government. The list and list of hospitals under MP Health Insurance Scheme 2020 has not yet been released. The government will soon issue a notification for this. Now, work is being done to know which hospitals will be included in the scheme. Applications for this 10 lakh health insurance scheme to government employees and retirees will be taken offline or information has not been shared online.
The implementation of the scheme through official sources will be done through the agency in which the amount spent in the treatment of any employee will be paid directly by the insurance company to the hospitals. Instructions have also been given to additional officers for not making unnecessary bills of any kind by hospitals. Apart from this, the state government has also started Maha Ayushman Bharat Yojana in the state.
Recently, the Chief Minister has also inaugurated the Madhya Pradesh Sanjeevani Mohalla Clinic. In which people do not need to pay any kind of fee for checking their diseases and along with that medicines will also be provided free of cost.
Health insurance scheme benefits and features for serving, retired employees
In the health insurance scheme of 10 lakhs, the government has also provided a provision for giving other expenses, the list of which you can see below:
- Apart from treatment and operation expenses, a provision has also been made to give Rs 10,000 as OPD expenses.
- Apart from this, separate money will also be given for the cost of medicines after the operation.
- Separate amount will be given to check diseases like blood pressure and diabetes.
Apart from this, Singh said that the employees working on contract basis in various corporations and boards are also being considered for giving benefits of the scheme. The premium amount of the insurance will be determined according to the “pay band” of the serving government employee and the pension amount of the retired government servant.
