What is the PM Balika Anudan Yojana 2020
What is Balika Anudan Yojana – An upcoming scheme of the Government of India, which can be launched in 2020. And under this scheme, maximum 2 girls of poor and BPL families will be provided financial assistance of 50-50 thousand rupees for the marriage.
- Assistance for the marriage of maximum 2 girls of poor family under the PM Girl Grant Scheme will be up to Rs 50,000.
- And the amount of financial assistance for marriage to maximum two girls of widows of general category BPL families will also be Rs 50,000.

- The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance at the time of marriage to girls born into economically weaker families.

Eligibility for PM Balika Anudan Yojana 2021
- Only people belonging to the economically weaker section (BPL) family can apply for the scheme.
- A legally adopted girl child will also be eligible to take advantage of the scheme.
- One of the girl’s parents or father should be a construction worker for at least 1 year and the contribution is deposited.
- No other scheme run by the government (like Shaadi Shagun Yojana) is availed.
- Only one girl born in the family will be eligible to take benefit, the other girl will get benefit only if both the children are in a family.
- The annual income of a poor family should be less than Rs 30,000.
Note: The applicant must have an account in any bank as the amount of financial assistance will be directly transferred to your bank account through DBT. If a woman gives birth to a first or second delivery twin girl, then in this situation all three girls will be eligible to take advantage.
