PM Kisan Yojana Portal – Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Portal (pmkisan.nic.in) has been launched by the Central Government. All farmers can see their name in the beneficiary list of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana beneficiary list on the official website. Under PM Kisan Scheme 2019-20, the government is going to provide income support of Rs 6000 per year in 3 equal installments to all small and marginal farmer families. The last date for putting names of farmers on the official portal is 25 February while the process of transferring money will start from 28 February 2019.
The central government has started uploading data on the portal by adding data of name, gender, caste, Aadhaar number, (if not Aadhaar registration number), bank account and mobile number based on the land records of small and marginal farmers of the respective states. . After reviewing the list of beneficiaries according to district by states will be uploaded in PM-Kisan Portal.
Based on agricultural census data for the year 2015-16, small and marginal farmer families have been estimated in the year 2018-19 and the number of farmers in the year 2018-19 according to the same calculation is 13.15 crore. Earlier, farmers cultivating up to 5 acres used to get the benefit of this government scheme, but in the Modi 2.0 government, all farmers have been brought under the ambit of PM Kisan Yojana.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 2023 (PM-KISAN Scheme)
- All small and marginal farmers will get Rs. 6,000 per year.
- All farmers are eligible for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, irrespective of their land holding. See PM Kisan Yojana extension (new beneficiary list) for all farmers
- The assistance amount will be given through direct cash transfer and deposited directly into the bank accounts of the farmers.
- Central Government. This PM will give Kisan Samman Nidhi in 3 installments of Rs 3 in a year. 2,000 each.
- The PM Kisan Income Assistance Scheme will be fully funded by the Central Government and will include about Rs. 75,000 crores on the government’s pocket.
- About 14.5 crore small and marginal farmers are going to benefit under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 2020.
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme is in force from 1 December 2018. The central government also announced relief to those farmers who are affected by natural calamities and gives rewards to those farmers who are repaying their loans on time. Instead of rescheduling crop loans, farmers severely affected by natural disasters will now get a 2% interest cess and an additional 3% interest grant on timely repayment.

- Visit the official website of PM-KISAN scheme pmkisan.nic.in.
- On the homepage, go to “Farmers Corner” in the header and click on the link for “Beneficiary List”.

- The list of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Scheme Village List) 2019 will open according to the village and panchayat as shown in the image below.
- Here the candidates can choose the name of the state, district, sub-district, block, village and click on the “Get Report” button to check their name in the PM’s Samman Nidhi Scheme, the list of beneficiaries.
Under PM KIsan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the assistance amount will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The first installment is to be provided for the period from 1 December 2018 to 31 March 2019 in the current financial year.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme – Identification of the beneficiary
Small and marginal farmers refers to a farmer family in which the husband, wife and minor children have collectively cultivable land of two hectares or less as per the land records of the respective state or union territory.
Exclusion Categories
- All institutional land holders.
- Farmer families in which one or more members are registered and practice with professional bodies such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants, and architects.
- Income tax paying families, serving or retired government employees, current or former MPs, MLAs and ministers will not get the benefit of the scheme.
- If a farmer is employed in one or more members of the family in an institutional position, formerly or currently, current or former minister, Minister of State, former or current member of Lok Sabha-Rajya Sabha, Vidhan Sabha or Vidhan Parishad, former or current mayor of municipal corporations And if they come in the existing or former chairpersons of district panchayats, then they too will not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Apart from existing or retired employees of the Central and State Governments, regular employees of local bodies (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV / Group D employees) will also not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Such farmers who cultivate on agricultural land taken on the share will not get the benefit of this scheme.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana – Aadhar card required for installments or not
The central government will take the Aadhaar card for the first installment from small and marginal farmers from those who have it and the other farmers will be taken an identity card to identify them. However, for the second and third installments, farmers will be required to show an Aadhaar number to verify their identity. The first installment for the period from 1.12.2018 to 31.03.2019 under this scheme is to be provided in this financial year itself. Apart from this, to take advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the applicant farmer should have the necessary documents mentioned below.
- The government has also mandated two most important documents with Aadhaar card, Khasra and Khatauni means revenue records, so that you will know that you are a farmer. In Khasra Khatauni, the details of the cultivated land is there, it means that what is happening on the land right now and how useful it is for farming or it does not come in the middle of the population.
- The second Khatauni, which will know the name of the land is a detail, if the land is in the name of more than one, then a share certificate has to be made for it, which is signed by the Tehsildar.
- Bank account number wherein the installment will be transferred.
