Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana is a death cover and accident insurance policy. Under which the Government of India gave death of up to 2 lakh rupees to the policy holder. Policy holders are only paid Rs. 12 per year. Indian citizens between the age of 18 and 70 can avail the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. PMSBY scheme 2019 is an auto debit scheme under which the premium amount will be debited through your bank account. Eligibility criteria of PMSBY
- Applicant must be 18 to 70 years old
- Applicant must have a Savings Bank Account
- Applicants must have Aadhaar Card
- Bank account should be linked with bank account
- NRIs are also eligible for this scheme
Silent features of PMSBY
- Applicants must give their consent to join / enable auto-debit on or before 31 May for a coverage period from 1 June to 31 May on an annual renewal basis.
- In case of death of the account holder within 30 days of receipt from the bank, the claim will be settled in the bank account of the insured or its nominee.
- In case of a joint bank account, all the holders of the account are free to join the scheme.
- NRIs will be given the benefit of claims in Indian currency
- Multiple bank account holders can join the scheme through only one bank account.
- If the applicant commits suicide, no one will be entitled to benefits.
PM Insurance Scheme 2020
The policy term of PM Bima Yojana 2019 is one year and the premium will be deducted from June 1 to May 31 of the following year. This policy will be deducted from the holders bank account. It will be auto debit between 25 May to 31 May, unless the customer has requested the cancellation of the bank for the policy and PM insurance plan 2019 offered by public sector general insurance companies or any other general insurance company Going and tie up with banks for this purpose.
