Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana was launched in May 2017 by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries. The main objective of this scheme is to double the income of the farmer and at the same time provide better agricultural fertilizer, modern technology and reduce agricultural waste. The PM Kisan Sampark Yojana is also known as the scheme for the development of agro-marine processing and agro-processing groups. The cost of the scheme was Rs. 31,400 crore and it will benefit about 20 lakh farmers of the country by 2019-20.
Prime Minister Kisan Samriddhi Yojana
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Yojana has been approved by the CCEA for the period 2016-2023 with the objective of doubling the farmer agricultural income. The Ministry of Food Processing Industries wants to provide better technology and modern fertilizers to grow the crops of the farmer.
