Haryana Assembly Elections 2019: –
The Election Commission has announced the election dates for Haryana Legislative Assembly 2019, to be held in a phase on October 21, the voting body is gearing up to conduct a democratic electoral exercise. The current term of Haryana Legislative Assembly will end on November 2.
As per the delimitation of the Parliamentary and Assembly Election Order, 2008, out of the 90 assembly constituencies in the state, 17 are reserved for the scheduled castes and 73 fall under the general category. The state has 1,81,91,228 people nominated as general voters while 1,07,486 people are nominated as service voters, the final voter list includes 1,82,98,714 people who will exercise their franchise in 19,425 polling stations.
The major political parties of Haryana – Indian National Congress (INC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC), Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) – announced their candidates list. Is There are 1,168 candidates in the fray for 90 seats. Election campaign will end on October 19, voting on October 21 and results will be declared on October 24.
