American Express Golf and concert tickets to become more affordable in 2023

Pop star Gwen Stefani and country star Darius Rucker will be headline acts at American Express PGA Tour event in La Quinta in January

The 64th American Express will be played January 19-22 over two courses at PGA West and La Quinta Country Club.

Thanks to its sponsorship of American Express and its connections to the music world, ticket prices are coming down. And the tournament is offering new tiers of tickets for fans as well.

Consider that the daily ticket for Thursday's first round or Sunday's fourth and final round will be $50 in 2023. That's down from $65 last January.

But on Fridays and Saturdays, the day of the concerts, there's an all-inclusive ticket for $79 for golf for the day and concerts after the game.

That indoor club includes hosted breakfast and lunch and a full bar throughout the day. This also includes access to all other public places in the curriculum.

It's $250 for Thursday or Sunday and $399 for Friday or Saturday concert days. For $899, you get access to the Champions Club for a full week.

2023 American Express looks like it will look and feel more like a tournament than it did in the last decade.
